In the first 3 rounds yes but Shannon is carrying around a lot of weight.

    Not exactly.

It was 113-113 in two score cards and Shannon leading 114-112 in one score card after the second knockdown.

It would mean that he was ahead in one card and behind in two cards after the first knockdown.

So he wasnt behind in all scorecards, before the stoppage

Really not looking forward to this. Briggs is too old, too shot. Sad the Klits have to pick among these old bums. I saw Wlad mention grandpops Mormeck and Tua.

The younger contenders are a bunch of whimps and should have their rankings revoked.

Anyone thinkin briggs is a danger is either a briggs nuthugger or a vitali hater. or a time traveller who witnessed a miracle.

vitali will smash briggs from pillar to post. he is leagues above briggs.

Vitanon Brigschko is the same age as both of them.

Vitali fights to the level of his opposition, to protect himself from injuries. Against Peter, he looked very stationary, not much footwork was needed and some claimed he had lost all footwork due to his knee problems. Against Arreole, he looked good on his feet. Nobody has forced him to dig deep in his comeback. Maybe Briggs can do that in the early rounds, but I don't see him do any better than Sanders.

Yes he has a chance if he can get in some big shots, but i reckon he will find it hard to hit vits and get tired quite quickly, and either get knocked down and stopped, or more likely fail to come out of his seat say mid way through

    He showed all his business...:-(

His opponent was like "Yeah yeah, I'm here for the slaughter, at least show me some respect".

Briggs is not much of a threat to Vitali. Briggs would have been a big danger to Wlad in the first few round because wlad has a weak chin.
