With the very very close loss to Thurman...
    What does he do now?
He beat broner in a fight i thought he was gonna get outclassed in...proved me hella wrong...
I personally thinks he thrashes Danny Garcia...and I like danny
Gives Errol Spence the hardest test of his career...but still loses competitively ...
And if Terrance Crawford Moves up.... or a timothy Bradley fight can be made..those make for helliva fight nights that he has incredible odds of winning!

Question is....is he still relevant? If so...who can he fight @47 to stay that way until a Thurman rematch ...or a Garcia or Spence showdown? Andre berto? Victor Ortiz? Brandon Rios? ........

Of course he is still relevant. The only people he has lost to officially are Keith Thurman in a very close fight and Kell Brook in a fight with clinching so excessive that a lot of people don't rate the win. He's still one of the top guys in the most stacked division in boxing right now.

I think he beats Spence. Spence is untested right now and I doubt he would be able to withstand the pressure that Porter puts forth. If Thurman couldn't knock Porter down I don't expect Spence to knock Porter out and that is the only way I see him winning the fight.

I wouldn't count Porter out in any fight.

Both of his losses were razor thin. Of course he's still a factor.

Who would you have him fight now on his way to get back to a title then?

I just find it hilarious that you thought he was going to get "outclassed" by Broner. It was the other way around.

Hell yea. Porter really needs a trainer who can make him hone his skillset as what help he's getting is getting him no where. Where be Rooney at?

Considering Brook held for dear life most of the fight and Thurman won a very close decision i think his training is doing him just fine. The kid is fun to watch.

He is a good fighter, I just think even with those fights and their particulars, he could be using is skillset a lot better.

Personally I think Bradley beats a Porter in a entertaining fight.

Bradley is a great inside fighter with a terrific chin. He has the hand speed to beat him to the punch the whole night. I think that it would be a fun fight because Bradley would trade instead of clinch and Bradley don't know how to run. Bradley doesn't hit hard enough to hurt Porter so he could put the pressure on and steal rounds and would make it really close.

Spence would just beat Porter up

I actually think Porter would beat Garcia as well tbh. I like Garcia and think he beats Thurman but styles make fights and Porters pressure would make him a strong chance of winning enough rounds against a guy like Garcia.

Garcia isn't fleet footed and doesn't have a high work rate. I see him doing the cleaner better work but Porters activity would be the difference.

I'm jus asking for your opinion about porter..and who he should fight next to stay in the mix...

You werent saying anything I didn't kno already... If that's what yu meant by me being "sensitive"... don't waste a post ..posting your opinion.. of my opinion!..it adds nothing to threads trying to get ya opinion of a particular subject! Stick to the question that's all...lol

Not trolling. I just thought it was funny that you thought Broner was going to outclass him. You got sensitive about it. Was just bustin your balls a bit. I think Porter is very relevent and is capable of beating any of the top guys but he should take it easy his next fight and fight a mid level guy. After that he should look to fight Thurman in a rematch or Spence in a title fight.

    Off course he is.
He still young (only 29), has lost 2 close matches against 2 top contenders and beat Adrien Broner.
I'd love to see him in the ring against Spence jr.

I think he'd run Garcia very close. He'd wipe the floor with the likes of Berto and Rios - there's very few guys in the division who can beat him and even then it won't be easy.
