    All of the good latest Haymon fights, have been on NBC, now CBS and others.....

    Any word on what is next on Showtime? When is their next actual show?

    I dunno what's scheduled......but Espinoza said youll see things soon....he doesn't seem worried about it.....he still has a relationship with haymon

    Showtime is NOT PBC. They are still paying for fights. They'll probably get fights that are of lesser quality than those on NBC, CBS, etc.

    jbuffett84 witha good answer.

    Theyll also always be in a better position to pay for PPVs than anyone else is. PPVs will always exist in boxing when the time is right. It's just a waste of budget for carriers like HBO, Showtime to be paying for the fights in between. I would rather pay a fee to have first dibs on any PPV fights..... maybe 2-4 per year or something like that.

    Those PPV cards had better be really deep and really competitive if they are going to focus all of their resources on that one isolated segment of the market. A consumer will logically be less willing to pay for a product if he can get a comparable product for free...assuming there are no preexisting biases.
