This guy has oodles of talent. The word is he`s a Judoka.. But the guy from guard is utterly useless. He cant defend a sub, doesnt know what to do from his back, has zero wrestling skills despite training with Team Quest and has fallen way too in love with his striking.

How dare you compare him to Kevin. Sokoudjou should really find a new way to make a living. He doesnt have it. If he cant end it in the 1st few minutes, hed lose. He has no cardio, he has no ground game and his chin is bit weak.

Im pretty sure you understand the comparison. Both are athletically blessed and both are capable of pulling off great performances against top quality opposition. Both are like beetles on there back and neither man has truly evolved in the sport except Randleman was in MMA from the early days. Sokoudjou is a Judoka for goodness sake. He won the US open back in 2001. And yet his ground game is shockingly bad. The guy just seems to turn up and that its. He`d be better off turning up to eat popcorn from the front row.

I do, but Kevin has used his wrestling far more than Soko has used his Judo. Kevin also has accomplished far more than Soko. I would compare him to Houston Alexander more.

Its funny when I saw an earlier fight with Texiera and Soko got koed. I thought he has change but apparently his 2 wins are flukes

He has been feed to the wolves. How many top ten fighters could beat Lil Nog, Arona, Lyoto, Luis Cane and Babalu? Do you guys realize how insane that line up of fighters is for a raw prospect.

houston alexander? soko ko'd nog. i'd say its more of a mental thing. he is like the zab judah of mma. he has the ability but lacks the execution and mental game.

lol little nog. Houston sent Jardine to the moon. I do agree his mental game is weak. But his cardio is **** as well.

I think Randleman is the better athlete. Dan Gable (for those who do not know is a legend in USA freestyle and folkstyle wrestling, wiki him if you don't know) said of Randleman when he was an amateur wrestler...and this is paraphrasing.

"I wish I had all of the natural ability Randleman was blessed with"

He tries too much to be Dan Henderson. Hendo is somehow able to stand and win fights even when it might be better for him to take the fight to the ground, but it's not really something that can be taught, and very few people seem to have it.

A lot of guys get like that at Team Quest, it works for some, but not for Sok.

one thing i will say is hes been thrown to the wolves. i mean he hasnt even had ten pro fights and look at the comp hes faced. hes young and needs time to develop. thats one of the problems in this sport they dont build fighters. its like once you have talent instead of building you they just test your tallent with elite fighters. i really think his ko's of lil nog and arona were fluke. and he shouldnt be in the ring with such experienced guys not yet. if his management built him properly he would be able to be a top ten again.

nahh...Randleman reminds me more of Belfort with his inconsistencies...But it's hard to judge...Belfort had to deal with the loss (and murder) of his sister...As for Kevin...well , he had plenty of different health problems too..

everybody went crazy when this nobody (soko) first koed rogerio & arona...nobody knew him...i mean at least people already knew that kev was a champ back then (even though his ko over crocop was also a shock)...

But i remember a point in time when fans used to say soko > fedor etc...

one very strange thing about him is that he's supposed to be a top notch judoka but he gets dominated whenever he goes to the ground for the most part...and i've never seen him using a judo throw...

prime for prime in the skills department , i'd still take randleman...
(hell just watch randleman vs babalu and compare it to soko vs babalu)
