Solis at 10/1 wouldn't be worth a punt, unless stories were coming out of VK's camp that he's looking really poor.

    Solis is a **** pro.

I was looking to bet on this fight as well so I have been thinking about it.

Solis the amateur is nothing like Solis the pro. Dude used to be in good shape and had a lot of speed. I was watching his amateur fight with Haye and he got caught by a big punch and was hurt, but he came back and whooped Haye. In the pros he has gained too much weight and lacks the discipline. Wait for the weigh in, even then, I probably wouldn't bet on it.

I think betting on the over is probably the move here. Anyone else feel that way?

Vitali has been looking fantastic in training!!!!!!! He is in shape to go 12 hard rounds without any problem................Vitali is not Austin or Julius Long..........Vitali hits so much harder, better defense, better conditioning, better record, fantastic chin, great sparring. He looks better than ever!!!!!!! Solis will have to have improved a million percent to have any chance at all.

Just because Solis has been in terrible shape before...doesn't mean he will be for this fight. He has won all his previous fights and done enough. Surely Solis knows that he needs to train harder for Vitali...or take a beatdown. Not saying Solis will be in great shape but all the incentives are there for him this time.

Vitali's skills might be blunted but he's still the best HW operating today. Vitali to be even slower than recently but will wear Solis down as he does with every other opponent. Vitali to win by TKO between rounds 8 and 10.

Solis? It would be like betting on a sloth bear verses an angry rhinoceros.

I just watched the Austin fight again and Long, then watched Vitali Vs. he last few fights. Vitali is much harder to beat after you get into a ring with him. He is much better than he looks.

It would be great for boxing if Haye and Solis won no matter what you think of them, plus it would set up a good fight between the two that they could market with Solis knocking Haye out as an amateur.

Then again we could get two dominant Klitschko victories and then where would we be at. Everything left on Adamek

Father time is certainly calling Vitali ,the Sonowski defence showed that, but you need an opponent who can deliver a TKO you wouldnt get a decision in Germany look at Marko Hucks last fight debacle,Ive got a tenner on Solis at 4/1 simply because in the ring old age will catch up with you pretty fast and if Vitali carries on wanting to fight every few months or so someones going to get lucky,Solis has the tools(first one for a long time) but........Im prepared to look like a ***** and lose some cash when Dr Ironfist jabs all night with a UD

Im not convinced of this aura of that surrounds the Klitsckos that a ramrod jab is the pantheon of boxing, hes getting old and time waits for no man...........:bbb

What's all this Vitali hate for? He pummelled Kevin Johnson, Sosnowski and Briggs and barely lost a round in all 3 of those fights. No doubt that Solis should be a tougher fight but still he has the height and reach and skills to dominate this fight as well. Vitali should win a comfortable decision.

I was waiting until the weigh in to reserve my judgement.

Solis isnt looking in good shape, nor is 5-1.

he would need to put on a clinic on the same scale as Calzaghe did against Lacy and then some!
