He'll never see Vitali in the ring ever again. Too many factors working against him like Vitali's age for one. But the most telling is can someone as undisciplined about conditioning mount an exhaustive and extensive rehab and then fight their way back into the picture.
That was my first time seeing Solis and I came away thinking he is top 5 in the world right now. The fact that he only went one round and got knocked down doesn't take away from the skill and the poise that he displayed for 3min. It is sad that a boxer could be put into the top 5 after one round. That shows how weak the division is. After the Klitchos and Haye there is a steep drop off. Povetkin will never be ready, Tomzack is just solid, Peter is old, slow and beaten, Valuev is a side show, Tua is ancient, Chambers is scared and there is nobody coming up thru the ranks so why couldn't he get another shot. When Tyson was coming up he would've beat all the guys I named in a calander year with a couple more bums thrown in. My question to everyone is "are there any heavyweights out there that get you excited?"
He took to the pros too late in my opinion. If he does get another title shot, he'll be pushing near retirement once he gets through his injury. Sad to say, but i wouldn't want him winning a title if both kiltschko's retire. It will make the division look really crap....
He allready got his 1.8 million for this past fight you think the **** up deserves to get another pay day I don't think so what a mockery.
If Solis' knee is injured half as bad as mentioned and requires much rehab, Solis will balloon to over 300 lbs and that will pretty much be the end of him.
