Is Spence Crawford really the fight the welterweight division needs ?

    Is it ? We live in a time of boxing where boxers are overhyped without of ever facing an elite fighter. And have only faced B level fighters at best . spence barely had his first real test at 147 against porter .

    Crawford has faced decent opposition.

    Postol, Horn ,Gamboa

    And recently fought. Egis who is decent as well.

    What if Crawford and Spence arent as skilled and superior as some fans think.

    What if. The fight to see and that needs to happen is. Manny Pacquiao vs crawford or Spence.

    Im not trying to overate pac . im just saying what if a prime spence and crawford are just a level below Pacquiao

    Remember pacs style is one of a kind and he is a genetic beast even at 40

    You either have to be the best boxer in this era. Floyd

    Have concussive power marquez

    Or be able to rehydrate alot of weight and bully Pacquiao with your size. (horn)

    Pac is a hard man to beat a very hard man to beat .

    What if spence vs crawdaddy aint the fight that the welterweight division needs.

    What if it is pac vs Crawford or Spence

    I’d love to see Crawford vs Manny...or Spence I guess, I just think Spence is too big for Manny.

    Pac versus Crawford would be a must see fight. Spence is a question right now. I know he is saying he is coming back and wants big fights but....there are some question around him now. Can he actually come back? Want to and can are different things. Will he be as good as he was if he does?

    Before the accident I'd say the WW must take place fight would be Crawford vs Spence.

    Until Spence proves himself, I'd say the biggest fight to be made at WW is Crawford vs Pac.

    Spence has the better resume.
    Porter, Garcia and Brook probably all go undefeated against all of Crawfords resume.

    They are hyped but there aren't many elite fighters out there for them to fight (as in prime ATG category). Before Manny beat Thurman, neother Crawford or Spence would have gotten much credit for beating Pacquiao.
