Both universally in the top 5 P4P.
    Both Unbeaten.
Both World champions and have all 4 belts available.
    Undisputed fight.
Both pretty much in or very near their prime.
Both aren't paper champions either, have beaten all the other main competitors in the division to get to this point.

Has there been any fights in history that have met all this criteria?

Spences resume isnt that strong when you actually go through it.

maybe, but if you really dive into anyone's record, no one's is perfect, and that still doesn't invalidate the points i've made above

    Compared with Arguello/Pryor...Ali/Frazier 1, Leonard/Duran and Leonard/Hearns....no.

But I get where your coming from with facts.

Sorry Phil, this one I don't agree with. This fight is too late on in their respective careers to merit the tag of best ever.

why? why are they not in their primes, neither have looked worse in their last fights than they have done ever, and most big fights in history you can argue one of the 2 fighters weren't in their absolute prime

I think you can make an argument that Crawford at 35 not fought for 6-7 months and his last top level win was Porter in 2021...isn't prime anymore. That said I expect him to box well although I've always leaned towards a narrow Spence win.

Aside from they're 33 and 35 respectively, Spence hasn't looked the same fighter since the car crash and I'd argue you can see signs of aging in Crawford as well. We probably wouldn't be getting this fight if the powerbrokers thought they could delay it any longer.

This is a good shout. Both in their 20s, undefeated, 2 belts each

I don’t think a fight, great as it is, where both boxers’ best win is Shawn Porter can be considered the best ever

Leonard Hearns is on a different stratosphere.

They also fought when they were supposed to.

That said this is still a brilliant fight that I will buy and get up for.
