Is Spence vs Porter the worst PPV headliner of the year?

No Crawford vs Khan was.

 

Taylor vs Prograis is PPV in the UK. Yes they are both very good, but they are not known names in comparison to Spence & Porter.

Without Chisora & Parker being the so called ‘co main event’ i struggle to see how this card would be a PPV. Nevertheless it’s a PPV card so to answer your question ..... no, Spence vs Porter is not the worst PPV headliner this year.

Also, its good for Spence to take this fight. It only builds him up more as Porter is above average.

 

It's a better card than Rivas vs Whyte

 

I think people are forgetting the absolute Shambles that was Fury vs Schwarz

 

And more recently Fury vs Wallin of course.

Isn't Logan vs PSI a PPV headliner too?

 

Without taylor-prograis headlining the card wouldn't be on ppv.

 

Agreed, taylor-prograis globally is a big fight i think people aren't taking that into account.

Both of these PPV's were infinity worse than Spence vs Porter. Fury has pulled the biggest con-job twice this year already.

I don't understand why the OP is degrading Spence vs Porter. It is a PPV featuring a top 2 fighter vs a top 5 or 6 level fighter in the division. That is a good match-up. Both are well-known fighters in the USA.

Wow, that's terrible. Both were here in America too so the fight was on super late at night in the UK. Probably like 3 Am or something terrible.

 

It's not a bad card but the $70+ is hard to justify.

 

In the UK it was. It is also where Fury is from. Somehow these 2 non-event, meaningless fights were deemed to be PPV worthy in the UK.

Needless to say, both opponents were from the lowest order possible.
