Turns out being a Haymon fighter isn't all it cracked up to be.

Are you from Quebec? That's about the only place that will register this as a megafight.

And if it is bigger there than Hopkins-Kovalev, which is a unification bout between a genuine, true ATG and a titlist who has been laying waste to the division for several years now, that's silly.

It's a big money fight though. This should be the fight Stevenson is looking for.

They'll probably sign a two-fight deal with Pascal with the unwritten "wink and nod" agreement that they'll go easy on each other and make it just interesting enough to make a rematch sellable.

They know the only huge money fights up there are facing each other at this point. No need to upset the gravy train.

For certain. And it is a good fight....don't get me wrong.......it just isn't a megafight.

After the debacle with Kovalev, and then with Hopkins, having Pascal as a consolation prize is pretty good. As I said, I think it's a good fight if it comes off. Pascal could win.

The girls worked on tips. Cash up front was the 'said gangs' take. Being I was in protection and collection, I never was V'd. Not for being light anyway.;)

  8. It's all in place. Pimp will fight some no name, knock him out and take his paycheck. Then he can come up with some word rebuttal to this claim, and Haymon will be satisfied. Nothing strange here.

Dress it up how you like. A man who lives off a woman can never be a real man. Not trying to agitate you, that's just me calling it how I see it.

I don't like to talk tough on forums mate. As soon as you try to act hard online you instantly embarrass yourself in my book as you have no way of backing it up and so people must assume you're some pissed off 12 year old playing at being a gangster.

Or at least that's what I think when all these 'bad asses' or reformed hard men on ESB start acting up.

Bhop sidestepped the fight that was more lucrative and easier to be made for a reason. These guys fight for money, so why would Bhop fight someone for a lot less money? BENARD sees something in kov that he can exploit and left a bigger pay check on the table. To me that is a clear sign of how successful Stevensons career has been

“We really thought we were going to go into a fight with Bernard Hopkins, but he was too greedy,” Stevenson’s promoter Yvon Michel told TVA Sports. Michel stated that Hopkins wanted nearly 75% of the money offered by Showtime.

Hopkins will make more money fighting Kovalev. Kovalev does not care about the money, he wants the titles, then he will get rich and he knows it. Hopkins makes huge money for his retirement fight. Kovalev is a better fighter than Stevenson, Stevenson broke an agreement with HBO to fight Kovalev, then demanded huge money for a Hopkins fight on Showtime. Hopkins said he saved them a law suit.......................Hopkins plans to headbutt, hold, fall down on the canvas like he did against Dawson, claim low blows, use his elbows, throw low blows, etc., he will make sure that he gets his referee and judges, but can the ref and judges save Hopkins? Kovalev is not Shumenov, Shumenov had never had a boxing lesson, claims he learned from watching Bruce Lee movies, was his own trainer, etc., Kovalev would have easily knock Shumenov out..................Kovalev's trainer used to train Hopkins at one time..............
