Stiverne would’ve busted Morrison up and a jab and laid him out with a counterpunch. Easy work compared to putting Arreola away.

    Lol, no.
Morrison, at this beast was a good heavyweight. A lot better than Stiverne. The man actually outboxed Foreman, unlike Holyfield and Moorer(well, he did until he got KO´d).
Morrison has a way better resume that Stiverne. All Stiverne has is the ever so mediocre Chris Arreola. Whom he mightily struggled with in the rematch.

Stivern is and always was a bum you just rate him to try to play up Wilders resume, Stivern literally just fought for a WBA strap despite not winning a fight in 5 years with two KO losses in that time period.

Beating Golota was impressive in 90s not in 2008 after he lost to Brewster and Ruiz in 05 when he clearly past it then.

Adamek didnt adapt well to HW divison as expexted and dis nothing at nite at HW.

You're one of only two posters Ive seen that rate the likes of Stiverne, Arreola, Witherspoon, Austin, Manswell etc on this forum.

For me these guy were low level Americans, fighting other low level opponents and when stepped up class (the ones that actually did) got exposed.

Stiverne never recovered from that illness, and the beating he took from Deontay in the first fight. He was limited but dangerous. He always had weight problems, and it got worse when he got older. Sam Peter version 2.

Much as I loved watching him give it his all in every fight, I'd possibly include Matt Skelton when he fought Chagaev.
Very limited fighter - and had no chance of winning, but I guess at least he went the distance.

I believe Joe Hipp challenged for a title (correct me if I'm wrong). If this is true, then Joe Hipp is far and away the worst title challenger....

He ****ing ran. He didn't outbox anyone. Schultz outboxed Foreman.

Stiverne beat the crap out of a top ten contender twice and is 2-1 against guys in the top ten during his prime.

Morrison beat a single top ten contender by running for dear life, and the guy was in his forties. Morrison is 1-2 against people in the top ten during his prime but also lost to Bennt for good measure. He also was knocked out by all three of them whereas Stiverne took bombs from Widler for 12.

We aren't talking about current Stiverne, dumbass. Just shows how you can't separate back then from now, typical of haters.

Why the hate on Bermane? He's not even close to being a worst challenger.
