Is straweight the most pointless division in boxing

Yep it is, not sure anyone even bothers watching two anorexics fight one another.

 

the talent has always been pretty dire at strawweight

There has been some excellent fighters there in all honesty and Ioka, Joyi and Juan Palacios are all very good fighters at the moment.

 

Hahahaha i was discussing with my friends who don't watch boxing. They were confused because super lightweight sounds like they are super light, but i was telling them lightweight was one big word, so it was bigger than lightweight. Gooood times, goooood times. Hahaha

I think the junior flyweight division should be eliminated.

There should be just the flyweight and strawweight divisions.

There are certain very small men who need the strawweight division as their ideal fighting weight, but the junior flyweights can fight either at strawweight or flyweight.

 

haha are you serious :huh historically speaking, Lopez is the only great fighter who ever fought there. it might be even worse than the CW divison for talent

 

Alvarez and Calderon are definitely incredibly talented and are worth remember, Nietes is a damned good fighter even though he's left the weight now

 

I think it's pathetic that so-called boxing fans can **** on any div. Straws have their place, and they put on some amazing fights. Anyone that thinks Roman Gonzalez isn't a great fighter just doesn't understand boxing very well.

Straweight is just as useless as all the other divisions. Just have one division where men fight whoever is in front of them. If you are too small to compete, too bad, go learn ballet instead midget. Top 50 Heavyweight Chauncy Welliver will beat all the P4P champs on the same night.
