Last time Mundine fought Soliman was 7 years ago. Mundine is shot and hadn't had a relevant win in 3.5 year when he got the SD against Geale.

He has no other options and nothing to really lose.

I wouldn't regard a win over Sturm as anything special if GGG finally gets him now but it would be satisfying as hell to see him brutally knock him out after 3 years of ducking. Golovkin ending his career would be poetic.

I highly doubt that he fights Golo but if he does good for GGG, its what he needs to get the exposure. Now GGG might have Sturm and Geale (if he decides not to fight Soliman) looking at a fight with him. But wishful thinking, I do hope Geale fights Soliman and Sturm has no option or shot at a belt other than GGG. Sturm has to go, for the BS he did with the belt keeping it "hostage".

I thought he won but to be honest, I think it tells you more of how Macklin and Geale's recent wins against him are overrated more than anything. Beating Sturm doesn't make you a monster.

That is also one of the reasons why I want to see it, just to make Sturm pay for his duckery during is reign..
And besides it would be better than C level JMWs...

Sturm couldn't beat Soliman convincingly, why do you want to see him against the top guys? He's irrelevant and has been since he lost to Macklin.

He is though, at world level and has been for quite some time had it not been for him bribing the WBA.

Im surprised Sturm didn't get the decision... I have this weird feeling he bet on himself to lose. I dont know why, it just hit me for some reason.

    Feel sorry for Randy Griffin...

I think Sturm will fight Abraham before Golovkin. Alot more money, slightly less pain.

    He really needs to retire.

So does Jose Luis Castillo...and Cory Spinks.

I think it's the end of the road for both Castillo and Spinks.. hopefully.

If Molina had more pop, Spinks would of been out of there tonight.

Sturm is done in our standards but I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to milk the German public a couple more times before he hangs them up.
