Leonard is as good as any fighter that I've personally ever seen. The Robinson footage produced in this thread isn't really enough to dinstinguish the two, not for me.
Nobody would destroy Floyd with ease at 147lbs. Floyd is a top shelf talent, regardless of how you feel about his antics outside of the ring.
SRL was faster, stronger, and had a much better chin than Wilfred Benitez, but he didn't exactly destroy El Radar with ease.
Which is why Pryor, by his own admission, turned down an offer to fight Leonard for a career high payday.
Kind of hard to narrow it down to just one. The footage of Robinson at WW is rather limited. It'd be nice to have footage of the fights with The Cuban Hawk, for instance. Leonard is pretty high up there though.
I disagree. I don't think Benitez would beat Floyd "comfortably", and I don't believe Robinson would "destroy Floyd with ease" at 147lbs either.
Ray did not have the defense of Wilfred. Hearns could hit Ray, but even Hearns missed with bodyshots on Wilfred.
