Thanks. I used to write that sort thing all the time, but the General pretty much destroyed the joy I got from it!

I'd say that he's runner up to the best welter of all time position.

The original Sugar takes number one.

Robinson is probably better but the fact he's assumed to be the best WW overrates him a little. Leonard probably has the best 3 WW wins in history

Arguello and Leonard are approximately the same height, but Leonard has a much bigger frame. Leonard's prime weight was 147, and Arguello's was 130 or 135 depending on your point of view.

You have DeLaHoya rated higher than Leonard at 147? Really? I know it's not on this post, but I read it somewhere else. Based on what exactly? Please elaborate.

True though. Sal Vs Arguello at 135 was the plan before Sanchez died. And Alexis Vs Ray was mooted as well.

    Both would've got battered!

Indeed:good! They were great fighters, but they would be biting off more they could chew if they fought Ray.

Well of course they were fighting in a different weight category.
Pryor beat every man but 1 and knocked out almost all of them 37-1. I don't see where Duran has a huge advantage. I don't know if he could take barkley shots, and duran had a good defense, but leonard isn't a massive hard hitting guy.

    Sanchez would have outboxed Arguello.

Deep down inside you it's true, Flea.

That would've been surreal. After a unification win over Pedroza.
