Thinking of buying dvds from sweetfights.com website. Has anyone bought any in the past? Were they genuine and decent copies? Thanks
Forget SweetFights. DynamiteBoxing.Com ...And there's a poster here I got practically all my Myung-Woo Yuh fights from and it's all great quality. Anyone care to tell us who it is, I forgot his alias.
This initial post was nearly a decade ago and sweetfights was never Raging Bull or Steve Compton when it came to rare footage (we also have more boxing footage on YouTube than ever before apart from a high profile casualty such as ‘Rare Boxing’ or ‘BoranBKK’) so I’m not sure it’s worth shelling out for pricy DVDs from this guy. What does he have that’s super rare? I’ve never traded or bought from him.
Everything sweetfights has for sale is most certainly not on their YT channel. Looking at their "fights available for purchase list" at the actual sweetfights.com website makes it clear that while they have a pretty extensive amount of those fights at the channel, there are many that are not. What I have wondered though is whether any of those DVD fights of there's are in 60FPS. None of what is on the YT channel is, and i say this as MANY of the fights the have their and available for purchase CAN be found online in 60FPS, meaning to me that people buying from them run the risk of shelling out money for a fight that may very well be found, not only elsewhere online, not only free, but quite possibly in a vastly superior A/V quality. Now, time for my very own shameless self promotion: I also have a YouTube channel with a decent amount of fights on it now. Don't know what it is the OP is looking for but if you see this, and don't see what it is that you are looking for at the other two channels mentioned previously, nor at mine, please respond with the fight you are looking for and I will see if I can track it down elsewhere, which I have been successful with for other fans here and at the ******* forum https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMMusr54FwKIaaYHDaE7bmQ/
Saints Alive! I must really be showing my age here but I can still remember the excitement of ordering compilations of major fights on VHS video tapes from adds in boxing magazines way back around the early 1990s.
