Is taking the line of never doing rematches a noble, and acceptable stance to take?

    No,offcourse not.And this is really shooting at Margarito or Calzaghe.

    I think i would be a silly thing for a fighter to begin his career with a statement like i dont do rematches.
    A rematch should be done in certain circumstances. Fights ending on cuts by the ref or doctor. A controversial decision.
    If the right man won, no matter how the judges scored it. There is no need for a rematch.
    I like Joe's reasons for not giving Hop a rematch. He knows it was a close fight but he just doesnt like Hopkins and doesnt want to give him a big payday for making another horrible fight.

    There is a few boxrec warriors on here spewing up the Ried fight. Have they even watched it? Probably not...:roll:
