A poor quality champion with one of the major belts? Lots of guys wanted to fight him... He just didn't want the smoke.

Joshua and Whyte in particular were desperate to fight him and he ran from both despite both having the potential to hand him far bigger paydays than anyone did before Fury.

That's kind of the point, though... It's a foregone conclusion, so it's not good enough - he should be fighting genuine threats.

He fought Ortiz twice when no one wanted the Boogeyman, and Fury 3 times. Fact.

Fraud recognises Fraud... Ortiz wasn't even a has-been, he's a never-was, his best win was against a gatekeeper who didn't even look like he wanted to win - he wasn't avoided, he was simply irrelevant.

And Fury #1 was a cherry pick - dude was massively overweight and looked awful against poor fighters... #2 and #3 weren't, sure, and respect for taking fights he was overwhelmingly likely to lose, but he was utterly dominated in those fights.

    Wilder is a fraud
He still took them. Davis will I'm sure, he's basically a kid still.

The point is that he wasn't picked, his challenge was accepted.

Well Garcia is fighting soon, so maaaaybe him next, although I doubt it.

Kambosos and Haney are busy and Loma has made no inclination about returning soon.

Will probably be someone like Rivera, who I think is solid, but isn't a huge name.

They don't care about what people think of them. The bottom line is money. These guys making big paydays fighting no hopers. Why risk it? For the enjoyment of the fans? LOL No! Fans keep watching, fighters getting rich. End of story. Do I hope Tank steps up, yes, do I think he can be a force in the LW division, yes. The big fights will only happen if necessary.

Well your trying to use semantics however the fact Wilder fought none of the other top guys means that it was a cherry pick as he avoided everyone else with a pulse. If Wilder had fought at at least a couple of them then you would have a point but he didn't so you don't.
It was clearly a cherry pick as Fury was a name and had claim to the lineal. Wilder did his best to avoid unified Champ and all other top contenders. Before you chime in with Luis Ortiz......who has he's fought out of the top guys in the division?
    Nobody...

Naw, I am just keeping it straight laced, answering a challenger and picking an opponent are two different things. Point blank. You can talk around the facts but you can't change them and the fact is that Fury was no cherry pick.

He does not need to do anything as a challenger as this will make the others their highest career pay days so really they need to chase the fight if they want to make serious money. Tank is a 3 division world champion so you need to put respect on his name. Kambosos and Loma hold no belts . Surely you don’t think Kambosos and Loma are the A side against Tank.
