Problem is Sparky, both competed for 4 years before their first title shot.

Difference is Foreman then started fighting the likes of Frazier and Ali. Davis still hasn't faced a top 5 opponent yet lol.

Cheers for the comparison Sparks, will use this one to back up my thoughts when Davis continues to not fight the best fighters and people say he needs more time.

But of a difference between Foreman facing Ali who would be HW champ for the next 4 years and had just matched Foremans best two wins

And Davis fighting Gamboa who has twice been recently knocked out, and would never win another fight.

Like I said this Foreman comparison is definitely one I'll use from now on. Cheers for bringing it to my attention, sparky.

Of course it has been long overstated & known that it was a Cherry Pick in no way would they have gone into that fight along with the rematch had they known especially with Haymon PBC Management at hand.

I think we both know you would be right,

Plus when Tank ever does decide to actually finally fight someone it will be a huge event in terms of **** talk on here, twitter, etc......

Boasting like we were wrong all these years & were simply hating on him & now in doing so they have been truly justified in his match making while completely overlooking his past avoidance, seen it one too many times especially with those kinds of fan bases.

For one thing, you haven't provided evidence of anything. For another thing, you know as well as I do how those definitions read and you also know that you are cherry picking within those definitions. Man up!!!. You are displaying narcissistic behavior and it wouldn't surprise me to see you arguing with a stop sign. You really wanna prove something? Copy those definitions ( noun and verb ) and print them on this page. By the way, don't you think that people who might be following this debate have looked up those definitions and know without a doubt that you are talking out the side of your neck. However, you can talk until your tongue swells up and bust and when you get through, you are still wrong and you know it.

You're a mental case Manfred. You are denying what it means not me.

So to shut you up I will do the top 5 definitions from a Google search. Remember you have not provided anything to counter me at this point other than false assertions.
1- Google - choose and take only (the most beneficial or profitable items, opportunities, etc.) from what is available.

2- Cambridge.org - to pick only the best people or things from a group, so that only people or things that are less good remain:

3- Mirriam Webster.com - Definition of cherry-pick intransitive verb : to select the best or most desirable transitive verb : to select as being the best or most desirable also : to select the best or most desirable from cherry-picked the art collection

4- Collinsdictionary.com - cherry-pick Word forms: 3rd person singular present tense cherry-picks , present participle cherry-picking , past tense, past participle cherry-picked verb If someone cherry-picks people or things, they choose the best ones from a group of them, often in a way that other people consider unfair. The club is in debt while others are queuing to cherry-pick their best players. [VERB noun]

5- Dictionary.com - verb (used with object) to select with great care: You can cherry-pick your own stereo components. verb (used without object) (in retail use) to buy only the sale items and ignore the other merchandise.

What does cherry-pick mean? To cherry-pick is to choose very carefully. It especially means to select the best of what’s available or being offered. The word sometimes implies that doing so is solely for one’s benefit or gain, or to gain an advantage over others. In the context of research and data, it’s used in a more specific way meaning to selectively choose and present information that supports an existing point of view or hypothesis. This kind of cherry-picking is often unethical.

So in conclusion Manfred you are wrong. I picked the top 5 results and copied complete definitions. You can try and be a weasel and call me names and accuse me of cherry picking myself. It is however all presented above and it's very clear that the definition is. It's choosing/picking/selecting the most beneficial option out of a selection and that's clearly what Wilder did over Fury.
    Case closed.

I don't hate him, I like watching him fight. Just a shame I'm not watching him fight the best in his division.

Yeah right PBC is probably taking a strong look at Emmanuel Tagoe so they can say he performed better than Ryan Garcia.. Probably match Tagoe up against a fighter with a losing record next month and start the promotion for the matchup.. Tagoe will come out and say he was drugged against Garcia will come to KO Tank..
