Tank hasn't won a real belt since 130. This whole 3 weight world champ BS is hogwash, he's simply a two time champ at 130, although I think he won Leo Santa Cruz's 130 belt despite their fight being at 135? So technically he's a 3 time champion at 130 despite being undefeated. Is he now considered a two weight world champ now that he's the sole holder of the red and black belt at Lightweight?
I am kind of a Gervonta Davis fan. But honestly in a one belt era he would be a contender as it stands. He has not really fought anyone I consider a champion at 135.
To be fair, his first belt at 130 was against Jose Pedraza, a legit champion at the time and Tank knocked him out. That was SIX years ago though, since then he's fought a bunch of prospects and midgets. The fact that Floyd wants Tank to fight Inoue next is pretty cringe, especially when there's supremely great fighters in his own weight class.
The guy is on arguably the best division in boxing and he has yet to fight a single top guy in the division. He's fighting bum ass Chris Colbert next and then wants to fight a guy who weighs 122 pounds. He's a fraud being guided by a fraud.
