Is Tank vs Garcia really a Billion dollar fight ?

The thugs have been keeping busy robbing jewelry store's crash n grabs, deparment store's and Catalytic converters, so they got money coming in, the teenage girls parents probably have a good job, so it might work.

I seriously doubt this fight will even happen. Tank needed a tuneup, pushing it out further in the year. It’s frustrating because these guys should be chomping at the bit to fight each other. I hope it happens but wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen. One guy will be bitching about A Side nonsense.

That said, it’s a good fight among two up and coming young guys. It’s not Fury Usyk, it’s not Crawford Spence or Canelo Benavides but it’s a solid fight that would have been on regular free TV not long ago or maybe HBO but not PPV. Boxing is slowly dying but is not dead yet I guess.

It would take 10 million plus PPV buy at high price of $99 a pop. Garcia isn't a PPV star and Davis highest PPV is maybe 300k and thread is a billion dollar fight? Seriously, was thread started by a 12 year old?

 

As far as merit this fight has none neither guy is ranked in the top 5 of the division or have a world title.. However there’s a lot of young casuals that think these two are the best on the division.. There’s people that knows Tank but don’t know Bud Crawford or Haney. There’s people who knows Ryan but don’t know Benavidez or Navarette..

Together I can see them pulling 500k PPV buys and that’s why that fight will probably get made before Bud and Errol. It sucks because Tank=Mungia and Ryan=Zurdo imo

 

There's a difference between holding a title and being a world champion.

Right now the world champion is Haney, everyone knows that.

 

A billion ? Nah ,the biggest fight that could have been made last year was Joshua v Fury and that wasnt remotley anywhere near a billion , interesting to see Warren in such a hurry to get Usyk / Fury over the line on the weekend ,looks like he's still reeling over letting all that cash slip away .

 

The fact Tank declined a 10 mill base purse is telling. This guy has done absolutely **** all to deserve a tenth of that. Lazy stupid fighter that thinks he worth more than he is, despite beating on smaller has beens (welll actually losing to one smaller guy in Cruz)
