If Garcia fights Takashi Uchiyama in his next fight instead of Gamboa then no it's not a duck as he's arguably fighting someone tougher then Gamboa.

If he fights some Top 10 Super Featherweight no one has heard of then Yes he is ducking.

Having said that Gamboa hasn't had a decent win since 2011 so is hardly that relevent any more, he needs Garcia more then Garcia needs him.

 

I don't see why they would need to considering Gamboa's last fight... But if they are, whatever... When's Keith Thurman's next fight?
