Atlas gives opinions same as any other mouth piece of the boxing game, whether you think Atlas knows what he is talking about depends on whose opinion you value or support. Atlas trained under D'Amato and worked as assistant trainer under Cus so what he learned in that time frame alone i would say supports view he does know what he is talking about, allied with his work with both successful world champions and world class fighters.
Maybe if he kept it in the gym while training a fighter but instead he is yapping his mouth on a podcast
Sometimes. I believe his side of the Tyson split. I think he's right about some corruption stuff in the sport. But I don't think he's above lying
He knows something about boxing, but he's a drama queen and a grandstander, which detracts from this.
This is the perfect way to describe him. He chooses to be ignorant about some fighters out of spite especially those from the UK.
Yes, of course he does. Every now and then, like just about everybody else, he spouts some nonsense or other. But he's been involved with boxing all his life and is a very knowledgeable commentator and trainer.
