For ATG probably more than just those two, don't you think?

Crawfords a HoF. To be considered an ATG you have to prove yourself against other ATGs or people close to that level and therein lies problem: he's face little to no highly ranked opponents thus far. He's mostly fought low/mid tier guys with Spence being the only one who is considered high tier/HoF. Just beating Spence is....a step in the right direction, but its not enough.

So what are his options if 147 is done? He has two:

-One is to move up to 154. Tsyzu and Charlo are proven at that division and IMO are on the road to ATG status. If Crawford could dominate them, he is an ATG. Some might disagree on me placing Tsyzu and Charlo this high, but I think they do rank pretty high considering 154 has always been a competitive division and they've both excelled well in it.

-He beats Canelo, assuming that fight gets made. We have no guessing games here on whether or not this makes Crawford an ATG because Canelo is an ATG. This is definitively the harder route to go, but the most surefire way.

That said I do want to say that just using the eye test Crawford certainly looks like an ATG. Can fight in either stance, has power in both hands, great balance, great skill, great core strength which he knows how to use thanks to his wresting background, etc. He certainly has the potential to be one, but he's still unproven as it currently stands IMO.

You can only go by what you saw and how well Terrence was moving and executing his punches, his agility, and defense. So his performance was really good but because of Spence being depleted it still makes you want to see him in against a livelier opponent who is not drained, who hasn’t been through a lot of trauma, and will eliminate any questions.

Bud could have looked that way because of how compromised Spence was. Spence had like zero punch resistance, which is usually a result of being deathly drained. A healthy Spence would have still lost, but he would have been far more competitive.
