Yeah, Ramirez 1 was the one :deal

Very, very underrated fighter these days JL Ramirez, who deserves a W10 Alexis Arguello in his record as well IMHO (6-4+kd=Arguello, my favourite fighter, losing soundly)

Wathched that fight today incidentally Gaz, didn't score it though. I thought Meldrick definetely deserved the decision by 2-3 points though. Wasn't impressed with his fading a bit in the mid rounds, but he came on well late to earn the decision.

Which funnily enough really doesn't prove the superiority of either team ;-)

If I score the 3rd to Davis it's a draw, to Meldrick than it's his by one point.

I scored it and get a draw. TBH outside of Lou Duva (Taylors manager) going mad over the decision there was no real controversy over the fight at the time.

****, sorry OC, I thought you posted the Brazier - Taylor fight. No, I watched a scored the Davis Jr fight today and had it 96-94 Meldrick Taylor.

    Scored rounds 1,2,3,5,7 & 10 for Taylor
And rounds 4,6,8 & 9 for Davis Jr.

Was impressed by both fighters head movement in this fight, not so with Taylor's closing the distance. Davis was quite quick of foot, and when he got out of Taylor's range and popped him with combo's he had success. Didnt' do it enough though, when he allowed Taylor in close, the volume was enough for Meldrick to win enough of the rounds to snatch it on my card. I could see it either way though, couple of close rounds, especially the 9th. That's a ****ing hard round to score.
