Is Mr. Mayweather keeping it 100?

  1. Yes. Mr. Mayweather is correct. Kovalev-Ward was a robbery and Ward ducking the rematch is gay

  2. Mr. Mayweather is talking out of his bottom like normal

Mayweather giving Ward grief for getting a robbery over Kovalev, avoiding the rematch and talking about retirement. Is The Best Ever (lol!) Mr. Mayweather keeping it 100 or is he talking out of his arse like usual.

Alright I'll bite. Didn't Floyd retire instead of fighting a rematch with Oscar? If true then what he's saying about Ward could come across as somewhat hypocritical, but I suspect his mouthing off has more to do with his duties as a promoter than anything else.

It wasn't just due to not wanting to fight Oscar (he would have beat him easier second time imo) it was also to do with Floyd not liking the way the division was heating up. Cotto, Margarito and Williams were doing their thing. We missed some interesting matchups.

Yeah, I too think Floyd would have won easier the second time around. Oscar was not prime at that time. I remember at the time that Margarito etc... seemed like legit threats and great match ups but in hindsight things change. There has always been fights that got away, that's the sad part of the sport, but Mayweather doesn't have a monopoly on this subject. I think the most interesting lost fight would have been Margarito. Not sure how many times Mayweather fought a longer/taller fighter than himself, it may have posed problems, along with Margo's will. ( and with the loaded gloves who knows! :p ) ) I'm not much of a fan of Mayweather's but he's surely not the worst boxer to grace the ring in the last 20 years.

Correct, everybody didn't think Floyd won. Especially the judges, but I don't think that affects a contracted rematch clause. He fought Maidana twice and many think his fight against delahoya was a closer affair than the first Maidana match and thus warranted a rematch more than Maidana did.

Floyd was right in how he told Andre he needs the rematch. Floyd had no problem giving people rematches even when he thought he won. In that regards he's not bs.

100% truth. Every close fight Floyd had he gave them an immediate rematch
