Is the boxing drying up on Premier Sports already?

Wasnt there a bloke on from them a few weeks back saying they were in talks about more fights? Also was Mick Hennessey putting a few cards there way as well with the Tyson Fury card being the first one. It is a wait and see with them but if the demand is there and they get the people signed up they will show more would be my guess.
Also with any new station they dont have the money that say ESPN or Sky have to get the fights they want. I would guess at the moment they are trying to get last minute fights I guess they will show more fights by the time the year is out. I would think with this tread up we might hear from that bloke again.

 

They've got the Green vs Flores fight some time in November.

 

I agree I really expected them to pick up Lopez/Rafa, maybe along with Kats/JMM. So far they have only delivered Green BJF which is a good fight in it's own right. But I would have preferred the other two.

Also no mention of Martinez Williams II although I expect sky to pick it up

 

In fairness they did say at least 1 fight a month which they have lived up to

 

its criminal if no english channel pick the rafa juanma fight

i had a dream last night that primetime picked it up and juanma won in the forth round :sad

they picked up Mosley and Bute fights at less than a weeks notice.

 

HBO and Showtime do not own the international rights to fights. Its the promoter.

 

I was thinking the same as you to be honest - I hope/think they will keep the shows coming - and will give them a until the end of McGuigan's contract at least. They did come out of nowhere, so time will tell....

 

I see that's changed from a Saturday to Friday, next one 3rd Dec. Good news, don't need to choose between this & Sky.

 

If they got the 2 Marquez bros fights, I would subscribe to them.
