Rios ate more than that... Cinnabuns Alvarez is fighting a 140lb fighter..........as a fan.......you should be hiding under a table somewhere instead of hating on Broner.
Everybody, regardless of their background, should be very careful when it comes to race stuff in this forum. Just sayin'.
every single post ive ever seen of yours on this site is discreditin Floyd, now your on Broners case, they both happen to be black, what a coincidence
Maybe he does, and maybe he doesn't. He certainly doesn't bring anything to the table to be "the guy" HBO sets their fight cards around. Maybe somebody will want to use him as an opponent, and maybe they won't. I don't see HBO calling him up, and arranging an opponent for him. Escobedo should look at this as a blessing. He had the chance to extort some serious cash from Broner (and if Broner refuses, then you can at least say hey I still tried), and do something to stress him out like make him weigh in every hour until the fight, and he can't come in at more than 145 pounds 30 minutes to ring walks. He COULD have TRIED. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE that is what he is doing right now. So I detract my previous comments about Escobedo for the time being.
Countless amounts of racial debates and comments are gotten away with. The moderators condone that rubbish, clearly, or are just too inept to notice.
"Ernest Gabion ‏@eaner0919 @mrboxingguru latest I got was that Broner rather than try to get to 140 kept telling his team to handle it assuming they would bully chente" There is nothing G about this ****** kid. He's straight *****.
Stop defending Rios freddy you're looking foolish. Both of these fighters are on my **** list - Broner for missing weight and the next day weight, Rios for missing weight in TWO fights. Move the **** up already kid.
Reading through some of the comments it's quite obvious that some of you who are extremely angry at Broner for not making weight have a problem with his race more than anything else. Trying to bad mouth black people and bringing up stereotypes gives you away, so there's no reason to deny it. You can have a problem with what he did and criticize him all you want, but come on now. This race stuff is ridiculous. Every year we see fighters massively outweigh their opponents in the ring by sometimes 10 or more pounds and nobody whines about it. It's hard to believe that that's okay, but outweighing a guy at a weigh-in by 3 pounds is so terrible. That doesn't make sense. I'm fine with Escobedo pulling out of the fight if he wants to, but fighters are massively outweighed all the time on fight night and people rarely have anything to say about it. This situation is clearly being blown out of proportion.
