I live in Ireland and the econony aint too bad,

    I Pay 68 euro's a month for Sky - Sport's/movies/kids

20 euro's a month for Setanta which is a bargin because they just signed a deal with Top Rank so we get all their top fight's

23 euro's for Ricky Hatton on PPV

So the only decision to make is do i pay extra to watch Ricky Hatton

You boys are being ripped off over there in Ireland. I have every channel available, including tons of international channels for 150$ a month and they're charging you 68$ just for a single channel subscription?

Yes, its the gas (especially in my neck of the woods) and food prices that are really high right now, as long as a lot of home foreclosures in my state.

I have two friends that have lost there small businesses (both restaraunts) and I feel for them, although one of them probably wouldn't have made it even in a good economy to be honest.

Well I agree about PPV's though, I never was a sucker for them anyways so it doesn't matter to me. The Cotto vs Margo fight is a must have, the rest they can keep.

Yeah, but let me give you an example about what I mean by wages. The minimum back home in Switzerland equates to about 12 an hour here.

Then other wages go up with that, you got me?

So the guys making 12 now go up to 18, people making 15 now go up to 22 or so.

With that in effect, the wages are fixed with food and gas, thats what I meant.

Economy is hurting me. I don't order the certain PPVs.

I was going to order Jones-Tito but didn't.

Didn't order Pacman-Marquez because I was out that night.

And I didnt order Pavlik-Taylor because I didnt think the fight would be worth ordering after what I saw Pavlik do the first time.

I don't order many PPV's anyway, but when there's one worth ordering, nothing stops me, not even the crappy economy.

...speaking of the economy, beer is cheaper than gas now...
    so drink, don't drive.

Sure, but wages are much slower to increase in the U.S. than they are in most European countries, and even then moreso when Republicans are in office. I admire the governments in Europe, in particular in the Scandinavian countries-- even Canada has ways of helping the lower socio economic sectors that we don' have here.

The U.S. is backwards in a lot of ways.

I shell out cash for aggressive KO fighters who come to KTFO of someone and only when they are matched with a very tough fighter a superfight

Like Cotto vs Margo or Williams or DLH
    Pac vs Hatton
    Pavlik vs Joe C
    Dawson vs Joe C
DLH vs, Williams or Hatton or Pac
    Marquez vs Pac or Hatton
    Klitchko vs David Haye
    Mijares vs Nonito Donaire
Vasquez vs Marquez although we get that free which is a shame considering the **** we sometimes pay for borefests Like PBF vs DLH 1

I will not pay for Diaz vs Pac or Malianaggi vs Hatton or Roy jones vs Joe C. I refuse to pay for any PPV involving Winky Wright, or Spinks or Hopkins or PBF unless it is vs Margo or Cotto or Mosely.

The only has been fight I would pay for at 160 is Tito vs Oscar and with hesitation as I think about it cause the fight would probably suck. I would take a chance as Tito has provided many thrills in the past.

Thats about it I might have missed one or two but I will not release a single nickle for any other fight. No mismatches bull**** or slap fests.
DLH vs Trinidad is the only **** fight I might pay for.

The next Pac fight is $60! With Bush's economy, no way will I pay that. My stocks show that domestic stock is the lowest (US), Euro down a little, Asia up big! Yeah, Bush is selling US To Asia! Also, India, Pakistan, etc., Hell, anything except US.
