    Feel for you guys in the States. In the UK you can subscribe to Setanta for £10(abour $20) a month and you'll get Pac/Diaz and Cotto/Margo as well as other Top Rank cards, Frank Warren cards and David Haye fights.

    Only fighter on PPV here is Hatton and I don't think it's worth it. Would rather watch it online.

    It's not the economy that's preventing me from buying them it's just the fights that shouldn't be on PPV like you said.

    Wrong. If you really believe that the environmentalists are driving high energy costs, you need to read more about this. Our oil reserves in the U.S. are very small, and if you speaking of ANWAR, there is only enough crude there to fuel our country for a few weeks.

    Simply put, our way of life is not sustainable, we need to cut our own fuel use in meaningful ways. Its got nothing to do with environmentalists.

    I haven't read all of the thread, but I'm sure someone has mentioned it's different in the UK - I've recently subscribed to Setanta and occasionally have to fork out for ppv. I did for Hatton v Mayweather and Hatton's last fight.

    It's basically a sports channel in which I pay a subscription fee of £9.99 a month. I subscribed in April for Joe C v B Hop and I can't remember, but I think it was £5.99 for the first 3 months. Brilliant, considering we are going to be getting the major boxing events that will be happening over the next few months including Cotto V Margarito. You have to pay to watch Hatton's fights...around £15. I debated whether I was going to pay for the last one, but I caved in.
