If they win... it is the best thing they can do.

If they lose... then it is obviously not a good thing. However they have already been beat by the person anyways.

Tarver-Harding. The owner of Roy Jones has done it three times. :D

He can't keep going unless he brings up some obscure 30-52 holyman in the mountain who beat the 4-1 new comer after getting knocked out.

I just GAVE you some...I guess you need more.

    Judah - Spinks
    Bell - Mormeck

Do I need to go to retired fighters as well?

Listen I get your point...its tough to come back from a loss and immediately beat the guy you lost to...but its far from a rare occurance (even a drunk sues2nd knows this...:thumbsup ...).

Holyfield had a tune up...Bowe didnt.

    Ruiz - Holyfield was close...ok.

Castillo ruining anything means nothing...he lost, then won.

Like I said, I could go into past fights of retired fighters and grab 10 off the top of my head (even drunk :D ). Like I said, I get your point, but as I said, its waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more common of an occurance then you want to let on of the loser coming back the winner in the rematch (Im kinda like an encyclopeida of the sport....its tough getting **** by me  )....but again it happens alot.

    :thumbsup

Holy ****...are you not paying attention to the rules?
Holyfield lost, and had a tune up, then fought Bowe again.
Judah lost, had 2 tune ups, then beat Spinks in a rematch.
Mormeck lost, had a tune up, then came back to beat Bell.

All 3 of those examples actually go to support my thoughts that a fighter should take a tune up before an immediate rematch.

And I gave you Castillo-Corrales even though JLC actions sullied the fight.

Dude, these were off of my head...and I already gave you three ACCEPTABLE (by your standards) answers....and Im drunk as ****. I could go back to Duran and give you a few from him. I could give you Tarver on two different occasions (Harding and Johnson). Or I could spend some time thinking and give you at least 20 or 30 answers. Again, I got your point, it just wasnt as infrequent as you thought originally. Its ok. I understand where you were coming from. calm down chief...itll be ok.

    :thumbsup

Randall-Chavez was close enough that an immediate rematch was acceptable.
