We now have another heavyweight champ not named Klitschko and he is in line to either have a shot at becoming the undesputed heavyweight champion with a fight against Wladimir or face one of the most exciting contenders in the heavyweight division (Wilder). The best part about it is that he has knockout power and can still box when he wants. Arreola might have been defeated but I'm sure he can test other heavyweights in the division that are looking for the next step such as Fury and Price. Chisora is still a threat. Povetkin only lost to the best and can still test other heavyweights in the division. All in all, I don't think the division looks as bad as it did several years ago.
If Wilder beats Stiverne then fights Wlad it will be a huge fight I think the whole of America would get behind Wilder
There is something going on about Vlad fighting Stiverne, then Wilder and Pulev, but don't know in what order. Vlad will knock Wilder out, Stiverne as well................
Incorrect. Stiverne is managed by Don King and King has never made a fight with a Klitschko. K2 had to pay Chris Byrd's legal fees so Byrd could get out of King's slave contract in order to rematch Wlad that's how paranoid King is of K2. Stiverne - if he wins against Wilder - will be fed no-hopers, there likely ever will be a grand unification as long as Don King has his claws on the WBC belt.
Unless wlad becomes mandatory... Sooner or later he'll have to fight him, or they will vacate the belt
Wlad can't become mandatory because he is champion with the other organizations. Unification fights are never mandatory but always voluntary.
It's exciting, but in a pathetic sort of way. Aside from Wlad, the entire division is a bunch of skill-less losers. However, what these clowns (Wilder, Chisora, Fury etc) obviously lack in talent, they make up for in personality, so at least they inject some form of excitement. It's like... you know what you're watching isn't great, but the personalities and "beef" between them makes it interesting.
It's been a strong division for years. It seems to only be butthurt 'Muricans who hate on it because they can't produce a good heavyweight beyond Tony Thompson.
Yeah because Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora are serious business. The Thompson you're talking about is an old man who just about sparked one of the biggest prospects in British Heavyweight Boxing since years.
It all depends on what Wlad does. If Wlad fights the right guys the division is interesting. If he ducks, then no.
