    total...and utter bull****.

so you trying to tell me that bonecrusher smith, tyrell biggs, tony tubbs, frank bruno, michael spinks would be defeated by the likes of tony thompson, calvin brock, ray austin, lamon brewster, corrie sanders, sam 'the nigerian nightmare' peters, fat (whoops, i mean fast) eddie chambers, ???

    give me a ****ing break.

im not saying that the guys i mentioned in the 80's were by anymeans 'great' but they were good enough to make all the bitchko contenders i just mentioned there look like garbage.

    :patsch

Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Larry Holmes & Mike Tyson were all champions of worse eras.

This nonsense about how "weak" the Heavyweights are is nothing more than sour grapes from Americans & Brits who can't stand the fact that the Klitschkos are ruling the division.

I completely disagree. I find the B level HW contenders of the 1980s to be no better nor worse than same class of HW contenders of the last 10 years.

Anyone with eyes can see that the current level of contender is garbage. It's not even about the Klitschkos dominating them. You can watch the contenders face each other, and see they have no skills. That they are slow and out of shape. The ones that do have some boxing knowledge are just 90's left overs who are way past their primes.

You are a ****ing ****** for saying this. All of the fighters you named fought better competition than Wlad's last 9 opponents. To throw Jack Johnson in there shows how ****ing clueless you Wlad worshippers are. Learn about the man and his time before you talk ****. You need to immediately **** off you complete dick head.

I think the heavyweight division is **** poor at the moment and probably the worst it's ever been. You only have to look at the division to see how little talent there is.

Even the guys out there with some little talent are in terrible condition. Look at Solis he is clearly talented and has some nice skills but is in terrible shape. The fact a guy like Arreola can get a title shot and gets all the hype he did when 10-15 years before he'd be a journeymen is a poor indictment of the state of the division.

The fact none of the contenders are confident enough to fight one another is also a sign that these fighters have no confidence in their own ability. If they don't believe they have what it takes why should the fans believe they are anything other than garbage.

40 yr old Briggs, 40 yr old Maskeiv, Fat Peter, Albert Sanoski, Fraudley Harrison, the out of shape 38 yr old golfer and Arreola would've been Journeymen in those eras not contenders and in some pathetic cases even champs.
