a pretty much finished Golota beat Byrd only to be ripped off of the decision. a prime version would have beat him down bad.

Tua did lose to Byrd, but he'd just come off of that dominant loss to Lewis so had most of the steam taken out of him.

Byrd has a win over a finished Holyfield.

although i think Byrd is a good fighter, he does get extremely overrated due to him being a Wlad victim.

who did Byrd beat that was fresh? they were either shot, or were coming off losses that put major dents in their confidence.

against the guys that Lewis fought, Byrd would come out of them the loser. their size and power would prove too much for him. he's never beaten a good big fighter.
