No one is looking out for fighters, except fighters, if they aren't going to protect themselves then they are at the mercy of governing bodies who don't give a **** about anything except lining their pockets, period. It's silly to think the NSAC or any of the other commissions are genuinely working to protect fighters, I mean **** Texas doesn't even require testing do they?

because floyd isnt the god of boxing who makes the rules....

its no different than when a person chooses to not take the stand in a trial to defend themselves...everyone assumes guilty,,,,there are tests in place that pac and everyone else takes before and after each fight... floyds test are something floyd wants...let floyd petition and change the way boxing runs, since he is in a spot of being the highest profile fighter on the planet (next to pac)

A boxer certianly does NOT have the right to DEMAND anther man take his tests. He can request that they BOTH take them as an added measure of security in providing a level playing field. But no one fighter has the right to DEMAND anything.

The only folks who are suffering from "Bad" publicity with these accusations and demands are NOT the ones who these accusations are aimed at...but rather the few boxers who have used those accusations to excuse their way out of a fight or to excuse why they lost.

PAC, Nard and Ortiz are not taking ANY bad publicity and boxing as a whole isnt' getting a black eye from these guys not agreeing to the demands...the black eye comes from those who made the demands and accusations b/c of how ***** they look.

it really does give boxing a bad name...

OSDT is made just for the olympics. It is special. Why? If you dont know the answer then you can go kill yourself.

This issue affects all forms of sport, as a whole. If OSDT is the only reliable method then what do we have now? What do you think will happen to those players competing the whole year? In basketball for example, you just won the conference finals then someone comes knocking at your door asking for your blood. Then, next week during practice they'll come back again... then maybe tomorrow.

NBA just got lucky Floyd is not playing for them. If Floyd played for the Bulls this season the NBA would be in ruins now.

Good post..... Boxing is cut throat...but it's always been that way. That's why you should surround yourself with a team of people whom you trust...whom will ensure they know their roles and ensure they handle the business aspect while the fight focuses on HIS ROLE, which is training, preparation and fighting. Boxing is not perfect but if you know your role and stay in your lane a lot of the bull **** can be avoided IF you got the right team.
