I'm not a fan of Cormier, but it's kind of ****ed up if they leave a TKO for this fight on his record. How does this usually work?
Once the second test is found out to be positive the decision will be changed from loss to NC. **** Jon Jones the cheating, dickpill taking *****.
If the b test is positive the win gets overturned completely so Cormier is champion again and Jones is banned for like 4 years. It taints everything from after the Gus fight for me. The question remains whether he did enough up to that point to still be considered GOAT LHW. With no wins over DC, OSP or Glover did he still prove himself the best ever in the division? He still has untainted wins over Bonner, Vera, Matyushenko, Bader, Rua, Page, Machida, Evans, Belfort, Sonnen and then Gus. For me off he retired after the Gus fight rather than going off the rails, he's still done enough. The only question is whether or not DC did enough to overtake him if you remove the Jones losses.
I was a fan of his and kept thinking he had turned the corner as far as drugs etc. For all we know he has juiced is whole career but had blockers that did the job to not get detected. With more advancement in testing for the last 2 times he popped technology caught up with his cheating.
Honestly, it's obvious he's been doing this his whole ufc career.. he's not even close to being GOAT imo
If it's obvious he'd have failed previously as well. Maybe not GOAT in general but he's probably the best LHW ever. Depending on how you view his fights with DC.
No he wouldnt, USADA changed the ways of testing in the last few years. Thats why Vitor went from being a massive beast of a man to a shadow of his former self. Thats why Jones is now being positively tested. Thats why Bisping is MW champ - because he never took steds and now its harder to take them, hes got to the top.
It gets changed to a No Contest. Obviously, what are you? A freaking hammer head? What else would they do?
