A rematch would be a waste. Chavez needs to earn a rematch. He's done nothing but fight cab drivers his whole career (outside of lee) and then he lands a couple of punches on a tired 37 year old man, after getting absolutely dominated for 11 rounds, and thinks he's earned a rematch?

Chavez had roughly the same success as Mosley did against Mayweather, apart from Martinez went down. If Chavez had knocked down Martinez early, then Martinez came back and dominated the rest of the bout the way he did the first 11 in the actual bout, no rematch would be discussed the way it is.
