Is the Klitschko Fan Standing Racial?

****ing hell guy, wish i was so inept at things like them, they must so wish they had your obvious skills, im sure there bank accents and fame kills them

 

I don't think the majority of Klitschko fans are racist at all. Some of my favorite Heavyweight boxers from history include Joe Louis, Lennox Lewis, Ali, Foreman, Holyfield & Tyson. I also appreciate white Heavys such as Marciano, Dempsey & Tunney.

How many other white Heavyweights have I sung the praises of? Tye Fields? Joke. Valuev? Protected fighter. Chagaev? Solid fighter but not an ATG. Sultan? Undersized for the current division.

Also keep in mind that I've been watching boxing for 35 years or so and I've seen too many "thug" fighters that do zero justice to the sport. The Klitschkos are great role models who show that you can be basically clean cut and still get the job done.

 

I think that halfs the problem, the fact they are so nice and good for the sport, go out of there way to help people etc, not being from the streets means in some guys eyes there boring. For some reason some seem to think being from the streets makes you tougher or harder, which is fair enough, but that dont mean you have good boxing skills does it ?, tough guys can come from any walks of life

 

I respect the Kbros and everything that they have done in the ring. but I am sick of three things:

1) if you do not think the kbros are the GOAT or close to it you are considered a racist.

2) all the comparisons with all of the greats H2H in the past. People say they would be a problem for any heavyweight of any era and I for one tend to point out that there are Heavyweights in days of old that would be tough matchup and/or beat the bros. Either way this is all speculation. I simply do not see the greatness in the bros that their fans do.

3) The beat up everyone in the Crap Heavyweight division and after each win we end up talking about them for weeks. then in order to justicify the Kbros greatness people try to claim that the division is actually as strong as any other era. The fact is that the Heavyweight division has never been this bad for so long ever.

I give to the Kbros they have done everything everyone has ever asked of them and more. They train hard and always bring their A game I respect them and started to like them until i read all of the crap said by their fans. If it where not for their fans they would have a lot more praise on these boards from fans

 

I like Vitali but not Wlad

 

Yeah, so clearly some Klitschko fans are racist ****heads that should be banned. But some environmentalists are probably neo-nazis. That doesn't make environmentalism wrong.

 

No your not from the Uk and your not white you aint fooln nobody, otherwise you wouldnt even have to say that. people over here in america love them to but most of your boxing fans (boxers) are black . and havent exepted it yet. some will and some wont, it is the people at the top that get us seperated, remember we are all gods childen no matter what the skin.... If Wlad and Vit. were to fight and Wlad beat the **** outa him then people would start saying he kickt his ass bad and that vitali was ahead on the score cards with Lewis so that makes Wlad the superior fighter ...not so its all speculation. who knows and who cares. but Wlad is the baddest MF right now and thats what counts right now... right?

I don't really think it's racial but I know that it's very regional and often generational.

 

1) true . . . but it does not take much to dominate this crappy era.
2) Yes, they have a High IQ but do they really have a high RIng IQ? They do have strong gameplan (which is the same time every fight, which it should be given their advatanges) but I think the jury is still out when it comes to Ring IQ. do they have the ring smarts, like Bhop, to adjust and overcome adversity?
3) I see this as a negitive (the same way i see it as a negitive for pacman). Nothing kills the hype over a fight by being nice to each other . . . if you cannot say something bad do not say anything at all. No one should look up to sports figures as role models! There are hundreds of other professions that should be held in higher regard.
4) to each their own! Personally, I think they are quite homely.

The Klitschko's are both class acts. They are very interesting to me outside of the ring. Both being Doctors and speaking 4 languages each. In the ring, they are both dominant heavyweights. Both have won the legit World Heavyweight title. Vitali is an iron-chinned ass whooper. His style may look like heavy machinery, but it is one of the most effective styles in heavyweight history. Wladimir is actually quite different. No one will accuse him of having an iron chin, but he is a VERY good boxer. An outstanding jab and a "Steelhammer" of a right hand. I like Vitali's nickname better, but Wladimir's right hand is like a steelhammer. Wladimir is well coordinated and fast.

As far as them being white, that is really no big deal. I didn't need the Klitschko's to prove to me that white fighters are as good as any other race. But, to those who always think that black fighters are better than white ones, well, tell that to Wladimir and Vitali. No one is great because of their race. NO ONE! Talent can come in any race from any part of the world.
