The only reason why you think the card was PPV worthy was because of Macklin-Barker. Is that because Macklin has Irish in him? And you give him stick over Khan:lol:

What has Macklin being Irish got to do with anything? :huh It's the fight most people want to see and imo it is the fight that made this card ppv worthy, regardless of the nationality of the fighters.

How is a card that has five main event worthy fights on it not PPV worthy?

    Cleverly-Murat
    Maccinerelli-Frenkel
    Chisora-Sexton
    Brooks-Jennings
    Rhodes-Konecy

All of those are well-matched, potentially very good fights, plus the Olympians as well, how is that not PPV worthy?

    Khan-Salita
    Mitchell-Prescott
    Simpson-Bell
    Saunders-Noble
    Gavin-Tergaiou
    DeGale-King

    Exactly.

    Clev-Murat is a 50/50 fight.
    Mac-Frenkel is 50/50
    Chis/Sexton another 50/50 imo
Brook/Jennings another quality fight which could be a war.

Don't know about the last but that's quality to me.

    Cleverly-Murat
    Maccinerelli-Frenkel
    Chisora-Sexton
    Brooks-Jennings
    Rhodes-Konecy

all five would or could have been FFN'S last year so to have all five on one night along with the olympians is worth £15 in anyones world surely

Brook V Jennings is the only other fight that interests me greatly out of that list and the way things are going that may also go tits up. Do you want me to lie and say that I will be paying the ppv for this line up? I will if that makes you feel better  PPV should be reserved for the big fights, not just a few average fights lumped together.

Forget the undercard, was Khan - Salita alone more ppv worthy than Macklin - Barker?

It definitely takes the sheen off it, it's probably still worth it, but if it loses another big fight it could be looking shaky. Those fights down the bill that weren't as competitive get pushed up the running order and start to look a bit weak.

Also, the Khan/Salita PPV was a ****in joke. As was Khan/Prescott if we're going there.

Macc-Frenkel - Macc is the underdog here
    Chisora-Sexton 50-50
Brook-Jennings - Brook slight favourite - but a great fight
    Rhodes-Konecy - Rhodes favourite
    Cleverly-Murat - 50-50

How many casuals will buy this? How many of these fighters will they have heard of?

Plus, how many of the fights will we see live? We have not got any committment from Sky on that either. Remember the Khan-Salita PPV - we didnt see Enzo and a couple of other good fights (not even highlights) and how many of the fights did they show live?

Voted no. If they were guaranteed to all be shown live and in full then I'd have said yes, but what will probably happen is that what we'll see actually live is the Rhodes fight, Brook v Jennings, Clev v Murat, and Macklin v whoever they pull out of their arse on short notice, all interspersed with highlights and tape delays of the rest if they've got time between the adverts and "up next, comments from Johnny and Glenn" ****ery.

No. Macklin-Barker is more of a quality fight with action. I always knew Khan-Salita was going to be a blowover.

I wouldn't buy Khan-Salita if it was PPV alone. Who the hell would do that? Well you'd obviously do it just for Macklin-Barker.

I voted no, but on reflection it probably is worthy of PPV provided no further fights fall through.
