I heard Hatton saying he is fighting for the P4P title so I just wondered if anyone agreed with the idea that the P4P title directly transferable?

It would be better than fighting for the IBO title which no one really has any respect for.

I've got a bad feeling they are going to announce this fight as "for the pound for pound title" or we will at least be hearing it more from people other than Hatton in the build up to this fight. De La Hoya has already started saying it.

if he absolutely destroys pac im talkin a dominating performance ending in a ko then he'd have a hell of an arguement for bein p4p no.1

It always pisses me off when Hatton says he's fighting for the P4P title. It's not lineal for ****s sake!!!

Forger the IBO they're fighting for THE linear/Ring Light-Welterweight Title.

If you are sick of talking about the Pac vs Hatton fight then just stay away from the discussion.

What position in the p4p rankings would Hatton have to be to make this a fight for the p4p title?

There is no pound for pound title? Well there shouldn't be, everyone can make their own minds up on who is pound for pound number 1 if they like.

2nd or 3rd I'd say. If Pac were fighting JMM that would be for the p4p title IMO.

What if there is a dodgy decision, a DQ or if you consider this not to be Pac's best weight class? I hope no one has seriously said yes, what a joke.

True, there are a few factors to consider. Manner of victory etc. would count for a lot.
