I never understood the hate for Oscar.So what if he beat Chavez.He was the biggest thing in Boxing and Mexicanos should have all backed him up.I dont know any Chicanos from here thatroot against Mexicanos. Im born here So obviously Im a fan of all Mexican/american fighters and fighters from Mexico all the same.

From what I remember in the 90's
some didn't like him because the girls loved him, so he was seen as a pretty boy.
And then others didn't like his style, since he would not get into brawls, they would say that he cared more about his looks.

They all saw his fights anyway.

The **** are you on about man? The only Filipino worthwhile is Pacman while the latino fighters, Mexican and otherwise, completely dominate boxing with everything from tough journeyman, to good contenders, to world class champions.

The Flips don't even come close to competing with the ratio of top latino fighters out there.
