Is the shot Hearns KOd Duran with the sweetest ever?

That Hearns punch was the greatest KO ever.

#1 - The granite-chinned Duran (legendary chin) was out on his feet before he even hit the ground...

#2 - It was one of the most accurate, long-ranged bombs ever

#3 - It was beautifully timed, as he did two left jabs to the body to set him up for it. It wasn't just a bunch of wailing and flailing... It was pure science.

Nope. I've seen so many ko's, and I love Duran so much that I could never vote that shot as the best ever lol. It was one of the most vicious ko's though. Seriously...no, if they showed all of the best one punch ko's ever, this might not make the top 30. Because of their names(Duran-Hearns), it is one of the best one punch shots ever, but imo Hearns shot is not even close to the best ever to me.

 

Good thread though. Seeing Duran fall flat after beating and losing to Leonard was crazy. Duran went on to give Hagler and Barkley great fights, and those two guys ko'd Hearns. Goes to show that style make fights lol...

 

Barkley almost knocked Hearn's ass right on Al Bernstein's ****ing lap! (LOL)

Hearns' shot on Duran hurts just to watch. One of the most beautiful punches I've ever seen.

 

That was a hell of a shot, specially considering that it was bloody Duran in there. I don't think even a MW or LHW could have done that to Duran...Hagler & Barkley certainly couldnt.

 

Duran's Glass Jaw got EXPOSED here. :rasta

 

It may be a sweet punch for you but for me it was a sad day.
