Is the silence from both camps today a good sign, that the deal is getting negotiated behind the scenes?

Or is this just wishful thinking?

Hopefully the are behind closed doors trying to work out an arrangement that works best for both camps. As I said in another thread. The biggest issue of this whole mess was making this stuff public. They had a verbal agreement not to discuss the details until the contract was signed. If they had stayed on point, they wouldn't be in salvage mode.

It should have been that way from the start. But if there is one thing we know about Arum and Roach..They always have something to say to the media. I personally think that its a bad sign that its being so hush because of that reason, and the fact that Roach has been almost no public factor in this really worries me. I think the fight is D.E.A.D

Both sides need a little time to cook up their next move. Their decision to use this testing angle to promote the fight did its job, so now they have to find a way to deflect the attention to the fight itself now that the entire world is paying attention.
