the most annoying thing you've seen a fighter do during a fight. Why does he keep looking down at his feet every ten seconds. It annoyes me and I use to really like to see him fight but its getting unbearable.:fire
Thats very true........its like it just sucked me in......I couldnt stop looking for it. It got so damn annoying now he's ruined in my eyes because Im gonna be looking for it. Damnatsch
I think it's a nervous tick. My brother had something like that where he would tilt his head to a side and clinch his jaw almost constantly. Especially when under duress. He eventually managed to get rid of it after years of work. It's kind of like biting your nails.
They had a god damn counter assigned to it like punchstats. I forget what the total tally was but I remember last hearing it averaged 13-14 per round. Last time against Miranda everybody said it was because he was sick. Imagine as Atlas pointed out somebody with world class speed (and inteligence I.E. Calzage etc..) waiting for it and timing it, then pouncing while he looks down. Lights out.
He does it worse wen he gets hit clean......he does it longer 2-3 seconds wen he gets hit clean. Listen I dont want to see him against Cal.....I dont like to watch Pitbulls vs Beagels. I would like to see him fight Miranda again because I dont think Miranda is good (my personal opinion). I think that he truly can knock out Miranda but can also be knocked out so its even playing field.....B- vs B+
I remember this one guy who I played basketball with always poked his left thigh with his left middle finger like a million times a minute.. I couldn't stop looking... I even started doing for the hec of it, just for one day!
I think it might be somekind of a medical condition. I was expecting Green to finish him off any minute but it was almost as something was holding him back......very odd to say the least. He was landing his jab at will, I don't know why he was holding back his right hand.
Green is one interesting fighter. He started off great last night with a number of strong, quick jabs he seemed to be landing at will, and then that is all he really did all night. He barely used his right and only landed one or two combinations. Just a strange performance. It was almost like he wanted the fight to go the distance. If anyone saw him fight Darrell Woods, it was like there was different guy in the ring. He attached Woods from the opening bell and there was no doubt he wanted to knock Woods out quick. With Williams, he made every effort to allow the fight to go the distance. Still a good performance though.
WHo gives a **** if he looks at his feet, it's just a weird habit he's developed but it hasn't effected his performance so far so **** it! He's still on his comeback trail so his rust is still there but he took care of business last night. Williams put up a better fight against LAcy but he couldn't do **** to Green. And i hear alot of folks criticizing him for going the full distance but since when did fighters have to score only KOs to be impressive? that's bull**** yo. Green didn't look for the ko because he was trying to get some rounds in against a live body. He's ready for Bute.
