Barker just had the worst performance of his lifetime, Macklin and Murray both lost too sturm also. All 3 have lost to Sergio. Macklin lost to GGG...

Is now the time for Macklin/Murray/Lee (Barker has probably retired now) to get it on? Those fights NEED to happen and those guys aren't going to get many more chances for a title shot.

Was a good idea a few years ago, but not now BB. Not with that group of 4 anyway.
Only one good fight in it really....Macklin v Murray.

Darren is gone, and Lee has plateaued at a level well below the others, sadly.

Maybe bring in someone like BJS and Blackwell to replace Darren and Andy??

The time has passed. Holds no real interest anymore. The promoters ****ed it up...as always.

Had Barker got through Sturm it would have been on. It's ****ed now though. That was my biggest annoyance about saturday night, it almost certainly killed off the potential of a Brit round-robin (which frankly should have begun years ago).

Agree with those that say that time has passed the only fight that looks like happening is probably Lee v Macklin in New York March.

Just to inform you Murray drew with Sturm with everyone believing he beat the German. I also had Murray one round up against Martinez but could see the Argentine winning the fight.

You could replace Darren with Billy Joe if the others agreed to the tourney.I think the sticking point could be Murray who still probably wants to go his own way on the strength of his great showing with Sergio.Probably thinks hell get a Quillin fight.I don't think he really wants Golovkin though would take one if offered.

They're clearly world class, though they're not elite. But then there's only two elite middleweights at the moment: Golovkin & Martinez; what about Sturm? It's difficult to gauge because the Barker performance flattered him a little bit, but certainly Macklin mirrored his performance and he only marginally bettered Murray.

There isn't 'that' much depth at the moment in the middleweight, but Murray / Macklin are clearly up there.

Macklin v Lee abd Murray v Macklin are the fights I'm bothered about.

Macklin is a decent test for anyone as for elite only GGG at 160lb for me.

Martinez is very good but has seen better days injury problems & father time you have to account for.Murray from here tough as they come but the visa issue is a massive problem.
Macklin would have to fight him here & as it stands can't see it occurring.

There is a chance that Golovkin will get a fight with Geale and possibly Kirkland after his next fight, unless he can get Quillin or Martinez to fight him.........
