Not a lot has been made of the damage to Ward's eye that caused the original Super Six final to be postponed. If Froch targets it, do you reckon he could get a stoppage or is Ward too good defensively for that? It's one of the things I asked Buncey on the final boxing podcast of 2011 http://t.co/fO6pphoI Or on iTunes at http://feeds.feedburner.com/williamhillnewspodcastboxing
Ward's eye was cut in the first round Vs Edison Miranda via a Headbutt. Ward was able to win the fight via a shut out or 118 - 110 at most, his eye didnt bother him much. But there is a big difference between Froch and Miranda. I dont think Froch is that much of an accurate puncher to continously target that cut.
Maybe - "Would you bet 14k on Froch to win by TKO cos of wards cut" Dont think froch is fast or accurate enough to target the cut, besides ward has good movement. My money is on ward outright, although I think he will win a wide UD.
