I said they utterly destroy the UK p4p. Which they undeniably do.

    UK population - 62.2 million.
    PR population - 3.7 million.

UK has 17 times the population of PR. Are you honestly trying to tell me you have more than 17 times the amount of talent of PR?

Cotto is currently above any UK boxer p4p (not far ahead of Khan or Froch tbf).

Heavyweight - At this point, all get dominated by the top guy(s). Some potential there though.

Light Heavyweight - Again, potential, but there are still some big names that can definitely beat Cleverly. IMO, Bellew put on the performance of his life against Cleverly, and if he does get another bout with a world class operator, he will be beaten.

Super Middleweight - Only Froch has reached World level, the others have shown glimpses of potential, but not even close to be ranked among the best in the division.

Middleweight - A stacked division, Macklin and Murray did well against Sturm, but there are better guys in that division at the minute IMO. They won't be around at that level for long.

Welterweight - Brook has yet to step up. Gavin is coming along very slowly, and isn't fulfilling his potential.

Light WW - Khan is #1 in his division. Him and Froch are the best the UK has to offer right at this time. Fought the best opposition, and building the best resumes. McCloskey  (I don't mind him, but he is not coming close to ever being ranked amongst the best IMO).

Light weight - All get beaten by the top guys. Murray has found his level at European level, unfortunately. Burns has impressed me, but can't see him sticking around too long to be challenging the best. Mitchell is off and on, very unpredictable.

SuperBantemweight - Can't see these lighting up the division. Munroe can go the farthest.

    Bantemweight - No.

Cotto yes, after that you pretty much run out.
Don't say Lopez, he was always a knockout waiting to happen.
Calderon has zero business in fighting. As far as championship calibure Boxers, you have pretty much run out.

Your amatuer team isn't what it once was either, P.R has a very rich Boxing history and P4P you may be the GOAT, but right now is a low point for you.

    I'm not Puerto Rican.

So point out how the UK is more than 17 times better than Puerto Rico.

cleverly, brook, and frampton are widely considered among the best prospects in their divisions.

guys like john murray, martin murray, macklin, barker and chisora are all fighting to get in the top 10 british p4p rankings. they have all been competative against fighters considered the best in the world in their division. how many other nations can put one of there average fighters up against the the best and have competative fights.

the heavy weight division is weak but the uk has 3 of the best contenders out there. in terms of quality in the heavys were much better than america at the moment.

then of course there's khan and froch who imo should be top 10 p4p fighters.

take into consideration we have the same populations as countrys like germany and france. who dont even compare in terms of produsing quality fighters.

Ricky Burns, IMO, is now only APPROACHING his peak!

I can't agree that he wont be "sticking around too long" :huh

Burns looks after himself and can fight for another 4 years at the top level no problem.

Expect him to have a big year in 2012 :deal

The population argument is ******ed. Yes the UK and Mexico both have a substantially bigger population that Puerto Rico, but unlike Puerto Rico Mexico and the UK have a more dominating sport. FOOTBALL. That eliminates a very considerable amount of potential fighters.
