    I think boxing corruption has alot to do with it, who really wants to work their ass off work thier up the rankings and find a Don king fighter has leaped frogged them for a title shot.Or howabout th emany stories of promoters ripping off their fighters. Alot of people just don't want to put their lives in the hands of a corrupt sport.

    a hockey fight is totally different then boxing, just like MMA most guys in MMA don't start out as boxers.

    But at least they fight from time to time. We rarely see that in the other sports mentioned...

    I'm not so upset that we aren't winning the heavies, as to the manner in which we are losing. Gimme a break...both Austin and Brewster weren't serious about winning w/ their respective fights w/ Wlad.

    It's always been that way. Don't worry, some of those football players would find themselves on their ass, even against the likes of Golota, McCline, you must have the intangibles to become a good boxer. Not just speed and sure hands.
