Is the Ward-Barrera on or off?

I can't wait for Krusher to start trolling Ward, although Barrera is starting to set a standard in the last few days :rofl

 

Sanchez doesn't need to speak for Barrera. Sullivan does it very well himself on twitter.

I think that Ward's tweet means that the fight is off:

this will be similar to when you had 5 years of fun and antics with your boy pac....dissing Floyd and makin fun every chance you had...only to realize the joke was on you the whole time....

when ward frustrates and beats kovalev the joke will be on you....its going to deeply hurt your internet ego again....youll start making things up you don't actually even believe after....or even worse....start making up excuses before the fight

 

he is lowballing Barrera as much as possible, imagine the antics he'll be pulling if he ever gets into negotiations with ME and Kovalev

 

of course hes gonna squeeze every penny out of guy like barrera.....you think ward is in the business of handing out money after being inactive for a year and a half? barrera is just an opponent .....hes not going to feed this guy for being an opponent

Barrera is not "just an opponent". He is one of top LHWs, undefeated, having his own career in mind. This is not a journeyman who will fight Ward for pennies.

If Ward doesn't want to be "handing out money" deserved by good opponents, he will have to keep fighting bums on BET.

hes 33 with what 15 pro fights? only guy 33 with a less impressive resume than ggg lol

 

I mean man...Sullivan barrera! this guy beat the 2015 version of jeff lacy!!! he fought jeff lacy two fights ago!!! guy should be able to ask for a blank check!!

 

Ward needs to stop lowballing fighters expecting them to pay for his inflated wages if he wants to fight guys better than Paul Smith.
