I answered earlier. And I still don't recall ever accusing Barrera of being "greedy" despite your claim that I suggested such.

Ward needs to humble himself again and just take $1,900,000 and give that other $100K to Barrera and get this fight done. Ward is has burned away enough time. I told you guys the other day that something is wrong with Ward that they are not telling us. I think his head is just not there.

Periban's team announced that he is not in the running anymore.

What were the numbers? Can't find them anywhere... Just to refresh my old memory. Just numbers.

Please no. I don't want to wait until 2019 for the fight.

Ward prefers to get an opponent 3 weeks before a fight. Real LHWs can't make weight at such a short notice, which is why he drags SMWs up.

So on that proviso, Ward's next opponent won't be of any great quality.

Would it even be possible for Ward to take on a guy who is a step down from Smith?

I'd like to hear what guys like Rummy, Shockmaster, and that new OnTheFence alt consider a fair offer for Barerra in terms of purse and split.

They're the three that I've seen have given Andre the benefit of the doubt, but no stance on either side means a thing without money guesses attached to it. Rummy asks why he's worth more than 300k, but I haven't seen him state anywhere what he thinks Sullivan's worth.

Personally, I think a 20% split, or $500k, is reasonable. If it turns out Ward was offering a mil and Sullivan turned it down, I'd change my tune. But giving 13% purse split for Barrera to travel to Oakland? Just doesn't add up for me.

Why do you think the split is important?

Why always answer a question with another question?

Because I think the split is irrelevant, and am hard pressed to see why that should be a major factor of consideration.
